Go Up Go Down

Well folks I picked up a old school coinmaster TR from fee bay 2 weeks ago.It had a repair that I needed to address before going into active service.the bottom rod broke away from the coil.A dow and cement and were all fixed up at no cost.I won this unit at 38.00 +18.00 shipping.Besides the break at the lower rod this unit was taken good care of ,real clean,a few scuffs on the bottom corners.Took her out last night back in the woods and fired it up.Didn't find anything worth any money but it did pick up all the junk that litters under the old forest soil. One of the easiest pin points ever, you just got to love no motion detecting.I will be doing more MDing with her through out this week but from what I'm seeing it would seem that I got my hands on a great working old school machine.

Yup homes she's not a deep seeker at all,Finding a dime at around 3 and a half inches so far. I think she will fit right into my plans to get all the buried scrap metal and other crap cleaned up from the back woods. It looks to have been used as a scrap dump by owners in the past. After several years of avoiding the issue I finall talked myself into starting this project this year.
I know some people hip mount their box.I'm going to keep it all on the stick.Since I switch swing arms regularly this machine is really bulking up both of my GUNS.... Cheesy

I'm looking for a pair of these used in the Thrift stores.

I need one for the Surf PI project and another for the Garrett ADS.

When you get tired of swinging the Brick, you may too!  LOL!

Well I'm still working on getting my back wooded lot cleaned up of all the scrap metal and other junk that is laying just a few inches under earth. The TR sure makes it an easy task on finding all the scrap laying around. Also getting set to fell a few trees for firewood.Last year during a log cut I ran into a spike nail with my chain saw, that was the end for that chain. So this year I will be using a detector to spot any metal that would happen to be in the tree or butts.
I swear I just can not see why someone would trash up their land with all this crap.I know some time ago people used their back properties as dumps and junk yards, but I tell ya there is a lot of junk here and it's going to take me and my machine some time to get it all out.Started detecting buried tires by the steel belts and from what I was seeing before it got dark on me,it looks like there is a lot of tires to recover too.
I have not found any gold, silver or any money yet but in this mess who knows what I'll unearth next.
