Just out of curiosity does any one know what was/is the hiccup mod
that this person is talking about?
I just read this on eBay today.

“Whites TDI SL detector, 2014 with the hiccup modification done.
Comes with warranty card, user manual, standard AA battery tray and standard 12" Whites spider coil in the original box.
In good condition.
EDIT: I've been asked the question about the warranty since the detector has had the hiccup mod.
I asked the question to Whites with the serial number and Mary Hudson from Whites USA confirmed this detector is still under warranty from Jimmy Sierra (Whites USA) as that is where this detector came from, it was purchased in October 2014 so there is 10 months warranty left with Whites USA, not with Gold Search Australia (ozzy dealer) as this unit came direct from the USA.

Yeah for sure mate, It is only the SPP/SL models that had that issue and in all the newer machines this Mod is now done before you order them, The TDI and the TDI pro does not do it but the mod boosts the sensitivity hugely and in seeing targets down to 0.02 grams and helps with the Depth too, Plus there is a mod that really boost the Depth on these two machines and it really makes the TDI Pro in to a Monster Machine, I got the Guys contact details who does them in OZ and he is a Diamond,
