Just thought id share some pic's of my old Whites 6DB( purchased in 1978), i used the hip mount set-up and even fresh water beach hunted with it. Still works for a classic machine, hope you enjoy the photos. Happy Huntin....DW

Great photos DW!  I love the old technologies.  Plus the 6DB is still a great machine.

Thanks Arfieboy, yes it still is a great machine and i would use it as a back up anytime, i would just have to bring enough batteries (14) to make it work......DW

Nice machine you got there.Well that's what I hear most about what others call drawbacks about the older machines, first the amount of batteries that it takes to power these monsters and I guess that is a drawback when you have to buy a super duper pack of batteries every month. The other is the weight of these built like a tank machines.
Well boys here's how I see it,if your going to keep the box on the pole then you have to have the GUNS if you want to swing old school.  Detecting  If you don't have the guns then it will give them too you.....  Grin

Old school machines just gets me all PUMPED UP......  Great
