Hi AU,

Have been using coiltek coils since they first came out   Detecting

Know John and Trevor  of coiltek well.

Will use no other coils that are available,as COILTEK  never let me down. Great

Ordered the Platypus coil today.

Will advise how it works on the beach and salt water.  Detecting

LONE THEM  Kiss Kiss

Hi AU,

Ive have had the TDI oz pro for 2 months now, love it.

First time out with the Whites Pulse Scan TDI Pro QZ SERIES.
I took it out to an area that been flogged with every detector ON THE MARKET ,all played up with the large power lines, the TDI handled the power lines and found TWO NUGGETS , first one weighed 3 GM. the next weighed in at 0.9 GM.

EXCELLENT machine ,love it.  Kiss Kiss

HOT ground at Canoona, the hottest ground in Australia ( no problems) ,worked like dream. Handled the black sand on the beach as well.

The TDI beats my GPX 4500 under these conditions.

The Minelab are good detectors ,but dont like the above conditions.

Thanks for the update now I'm really jealous ,

theres something differant about the OZ series than the one we get, it has something to do with the coils but I know that it can do just about anything you use it for,

did you order the platypus Mono or the DD, because as you know the Mono has the slight edge depth, BUT not forgetting that all the minelab coils will fit the TDI so maybe you should give them a whirl, if you have'nt already
