Hello,
The other day I received my new DFX, I haven't used it yet I thought I would do some research on it before I took
it out. There sure is quite a bit more to this detector than my M 6, any advice for the first time DFX user is welcomed here.  Teach
Thanks,
Wolfy,
 Detecting

Take it out ASAP. Use the factory preset programs. Spend an hour with the Coin program, then an hour with the Jewelry/Beach program, decide what tone & discrimination styles you prefer. Bury different coins at one and five inches, then practice until you can pinpoint them precisely.

One of the most successful hunters in our club has had the DFX for 6 years and never used any settings beyond the Jewelry/Beach preset.
