Anyone saying there know good must have a duffer there top notch like all whites equipment, maybe you need glasses/hearing aid,but saying that its got vibrate, Anyway ive had one since they came out, it been used and abused never clean it, never let me down, even the mrs likes it lol, all I advise is bag it because its not water proof housing, but that the only draw back.... big deal.
Everyone harpes on about the garatt, well it is better but well over priced, Also while we are on the subject, does garret actually make that pinpointer? because if they do its about the only thing they make that isnt toy looking.

I previously made a negative comment regarding the White's pinpointer... I retract that comment. I have been using it recently (after having read about the use to make sure that I am using it correctly) and find it is really GOOD. I have used it primarily in the bottom of my sifting screen when I couldn't easily find my "target"..Wow, it really finds the target fast and effortlessly!!!  When sifting through all the remaining dirt balls, debris,etc., it is difficult to see anything resembling a target but when the pinpointer locates it, Voila.  Sometimes the target is not what you would expect (it may not be a coin, etc) but the pinpointer does not lie..
