I was wondering how many are using the 5.3 coil with the M6 or Mxt? I got the 5.3 and the 6x10 DD seem to be good at what they do. So far I like the 5.3 in areas that have lots of structures and trashy. The 6x10 seems to be the best in wide open areas by covering lots of ground. I do use the 5.3 the most because of the hunting areas I hunt. Both are good coils. CG

Hi Cal, I use the 5.3 about 80% of the time on my MXT. I like the 6x10 but get about the same depth with the 5.3. I think the 5.3 gives better VDI,s than the 6x10 that is one reason i like using it. I got a 5x8 SEF coil and been using it more lately. It is a DD coil just not as big as the 6x10, and it is a wide scan also. If you get to try a SEF coil i think you would like it to.  Good Luck  Flintstone
