I've had three Eagle's and they are fantastic machines.  I currently have the MXT and Eagle II and find that I still use my Eagle II more.  Did you try laying the machine on a table, with the coil hanging over, and squeezing the coil and manipulating your coil connections to see if you may have a shorting out problem.  I've never seen a mod like you have.  What exact model do you have?  Got pics of the coil and control box?  Ron

I if you decide to part with your Eagle II .  I have the same one I could use a parts detector. Personaly I really like the Eagle II. I live in Nevada Las Vegas.
