 Hello . Does anyone own a whites prizm 6T and if so could you please let me know what it is like on the beach (in particular on the black sand)as i am thinking about getting one.I am new to beach hunting and am getting fed up with seeing all the others on the black stuff pulling up rings left right and center and as im using an xp i cannot get near as the machine starts to sound off as soon as i get close even if i turn the sense way down.Thank you for reading . Malc, I don't have a 6T, but I did see on the Whites forum where a guy tested it out and it supposedly worked good. I know it has a beach mode ( or button) for black sand and high alkalai soil like in the Southwest. CG

Hmmm! I will have to look at mine.... I do not remember it saying *White,* just Prizm, and I do not remember model numbers... I can not tell you how it is on beaches, because we do not have what you would recognize as a beach, anywhere, being about 300 or  375 miles inland!  Shocked

Of course, there are fossil beaches, north of here, but no salt, pull tabs nor bathing babes. Unless they, too, are fossilized.
