I bought the TDI for coin and jewlery hunting, as there is not much gold in NH. It is a great coin hunter, no nails or pulltabs to put up with but set for this you have to give up nickles. It is a gold hunting detector and this is where it is the most sensitive. Been checking it out with four different coils. Waiting for weather to warm up so i can hit the ocean beaches. I also wanted too compare it to my Eric Foster Goldscan 5C which has more power. ( Only two these in the US ). HH Frank

I watched a youtube video a while back where a guy was doing side to side comparisons with the TDI and I believe the E-track. The TDI was pretty impressive and able to ID iron...although the E-track was impressive too.

The E-Trac is a pretty impressive detector. I a had and used one for awhile, but wanted a TDI so bad i sold the E-Trac and another detector to buy the TDI. Still have old standby Explorer XS which works well for me. Guess i just have too many detectors. Of course my wife thinks i'm nuts but lets me do it. HH Frank

I will let you all know what the TDI is like as soon as i get a dry day and the right tide for a sandy beach i want to go too.
Got to figure out the settings properly too.
