salutes own the XP deus, and I don't sincerely see great difference with and trac, him lighter but same errors of evaluation of and trac, for the depth he/she anchors nn I can express me we see in these days in the dirty zones as it goes, then the astina that the flat plain pian holds up steps backwards in the center because he/she doesn't close well the lock.

XP Deus

I've had the XP Deus nearly 3 months now and it is definitely the best out of the many detectors I have had in well over
20 years.

I have checked targets found by my friends E Trac and it has never failed to get them. I think the E Trac ID's deeper
but that's about the only advantage.

I have used the G-Maxx2, Adventis and Gold Maxx Power and the Deus is all these machines in a lighter package, and more, with a display.

yes, it is expensive but only slightly more than an E Trac but with the Deus you have the latest technology.

When you compare the depths they detect you must remember the Deus has a 9" coil compared to the 11" coil on the E Trac. So, when the Deus gets the larger coil (later this year) it will very probably go deeper and ID deeper then it's
competitor.

The more I use the Deus the more I like it. The people who criticise and detract aboyt it are the ones who have never used it!

Pino, forget the pinpoint, just use "X"ing the target, much faster and just as accurate.  Great

Nice looking, lighter than most without a control box attached, meaning, if you can hip mount yours, it's lighter by about 1/4 pound. Aluminum shaft? Why not thick graphite? Magnetic hold for the meter section, means keep out of brush and thick woods, coil sure doesn't look waterproof, wind will make poor use of the unsealed flimsey headphones, not to mention branches and maybe just bending over. So, not good for saltwater beaches where there is waves, ok for inland sites like, parks, hunting fields or home sites. Sensitivity looked good in air tests, but how about in the dirt or sand where most machines really back off? Yep, need some real test reports, but it is a step in a nice direction with the wireless and computer upgrade stuff.

The coil is waterproof, but due to the wireless technology can only be submerged to a certain depth, although there is now an adapter with a sort of ariel that goes along the stem to allow more depth when submerged.
The control box can me magnet mounted, mounted in an I-Phone wrist/neck mount, or just left in the car, as the main functions are all available via the headphones too if you just wish to use sound only instead of a display mode.
There should also be by now a set of FULL CUP type headphones available, as these BACKPHONE type are more designed for summer to avoid sweaty ears in the heat.
 Great

That sounds better. I think the meter section should have the option of solid mounting if desired, some type of slip in bracket. I guess they will figure things out as they go along.
