Go Up Go Down

I have opened a closed tunnel by the japanese soldiers of world war 2, curiosity leads me to discover it (as i use to be with the thunters of cordillera) due to some unusual form of stones aroud the area. Since we are only two working it took us 4 months since we are confronted with many traps to reach the dead end, its not bomb or poison gas, not yet,  as being experienced by fellow hunters but buy boulders hanging covered by soil. I supposed we reach the end of the tunnel coz we are confronted with a flat shining marble like stone about 10ft. high, so far we have just cleaned about 6ft. of the diameter which i calculate to be 4ft. more. At the top, there's about 2ft. gap from the roof of the tunnel and from there we found many small stones with different sizes and figures.... due to the heavy rain we stop.... next year.... by summer we will continue..... now my question to the hunters out there, is this shining flat wall the 'vault' which is the dangerous part, one mistake and you will release the poison gas or liquid.... i might as well post some of the pictures later......thanks to this forum....

When we confronted the 'vault' as we called it, i cleaned it with wet cloth its slippery as if its covered with wax, i break a portion of it bring outside the tunnel to be analyze, its like a marble, maybe with my next trip me and my partner can clean the last remaining portion of this vault since it was covered with gravels mix with clay so when its wet it become sticky like a gum and when its dry its like a cement but at least it can be penetrated. Here are some pictures that i would like to share.....

Jun of calasipan,                                                                                                                                                                                              No i'm not from Atok but i am a full blooded Igorot. I adopted the name 'sayangan' coz' its the location of the first japanese map that i ever had and was given to me by an 'old china man' who introduces me with this japanese treasure hunting venture. Its unfortunate that he passes away.He is a living dictionary of the japanese sign and symbol in his time.Yes, he was able to recover bars of gold in the 60's in two different location. One spot is in the foot of Mt.Sto.Tomas and the other one is in Happy Glenn Loop,Jungle Town along Leonard Wood Rd. He married one of us (torogi) and it so happened that they were not able to bear children.....well he's gone now and with the short span of time being with him he showed to me that  the japanese treeasures are real and are waiting to be recovered by those who believe and are willing to sacrifice some time and effort......we are lucky that we are from the Cordillera the last stand of the japanese army before they surrender though some of these treasures are recovered by the japanese themselves and by their descendants. There are still treasures waiting out there. as we torogi always say, 'adi tako bukudan din gawis'...   "may Kabunyan show us the way".... also regards to boy scout ......                           sayangan
