Go Up Go Down

We have again found religious item in our diggings, this is the diggings where we found the medallion and other religious items. This time we found a "CRUCIFIX" at a deep of 126 ft. It is coated with black asphalt and mixed with the fine sands. The crucifix with an image of JESUS CHRIST on the cross is made of bronze. The image of Christ is back to back. At the right tip of the cross, through the aid of magnifying glass, I can see visibly enbosed numbers "1608". This 1608 may be the year when the crucifix was carved and assembled. This crucifix may be owned by the same priest who owns the medallion, and other religious items that we found earlier at the same site. The Cricifix is more or less 3 1/2 inches long. This can be a religious anti facts. How much could it be. We still continue the digging until may be we can reach the treas if there is any.

Can anybody give me an idea or any information as to this cricifix that we found. This is the pictures of the item.

Thank you.

It dates from the 19th century. However I don't think it is realted to any Yamashita cache.

Christian
