Go Up Go Down

Hi All,

I'm new in to this treasure hunting thing.

I happen to find a Silver Sealed Box with the following markings:

SEC. CODE No. 7700-11
P.D. NO. G77-81E
BOX NO. 77778770
SERIAL NO. G77778771E to G77779020E
SERIES of 1928.
DENOMINATIONS: $1,000,000,000 250 PCS

Please see the images for the full details on what is engraved on the box.

It is totally sealed (no openings at all, no lock or key holes), but I'm quite sure that it contains something inside, because I hear something when I shake it. I did not opened it as I want to know first if this has any value at all. I really don't know what to do with this box. I found your site very helpful as I happen to read one post with quite a similar thing. Can anyone please help me to know the value of this silver box? Shall I open it?

I'll be waiting for your helpful suggestions. Thank you in advance.

NOOOOOOOO! Don't chuck it in the trash!! Destroy that box. Open it, mangle the metal and sell it for scrap! Otherwise next week we'll see another post by some new user asking what to do with the shiny box that he chanced upon in the garbage.  Cheesy

OK jokes aside, Alexcruz...boxes like those with certs claiming to be worth billions and gazillions of dollars are SCAMS, plain and simple. Don't waste your time.

Aww...am sorry to be a spoiler, homie. Alexcruz asked a legitimate question, felt that he deserved a proper answer. But not all is lost! I have a 16lb Brunswick bowling ball...maybe we could pretend it has some of that Sayasa treasure in the thumbhole?  Grin

Well, I didn't expect to get this kind of responses from you guys. I thought that you are experienced and can provide me some helpful and serious insights about the box. But, most of you took this as a joke.

Moving forward, I have decided to open the box and please see the images for what I found inside.

Anyone who can tell me if these documents are valuable?

They're valuable only if you run out of toilet paper, Alex.
I was dead serious when I said it is a scam, and I'm still seriously saying it's a scam. Put those things away in the recycle bin, take it as an experience and learn from it.

t would be kinder to refer to this as a hoax since this poor treasure hunter appears to be a victim.
