Those marks are known as lichen.

yes they have lichen alright, i hope you also notice what is very obvious. the foot print marker. fish head , the cod fish, and an arrow. in places that has japanese settlement before the war anywhere in the PI has prolific markings of some kind. i believe that it means something in connection with there loot. have another photo of a stone that looks like a japanese soldier wearing his hat.

You can see shapes and faces in the clouds rocks and sand if you want

But you still have nothing and no proof,

9 to 5 is still your best option and a detector on the beach

it difficult for me to prove something for you since you are not from PI. it is my intention to show these marker to fellow hunters looking for the mythical loot. of course metal detector are of some help on the dig site. it is impractical for me so scan with only a metal detector you need to scourge the whole 100 plus hectars of land. my whites tm 808 was a good use. i was able to scan the area with my friends okm. its high tech but it has also some disadvantages. i remember reading from this site that t hunting is 90 percent research and 10 percent hard work. happy hunting

Mythical? How telling.

Natural rocks can take on imaginary images just like clouds in the sky. A natural rock is not a treasure sign. It's a treasure of nature, perhaps, but not a sign of buried treasure. Myself, I am very glad I am not from the PI. I'd hate to be brought up believing that under my house, a Japanese soldier buried something.

Go Up Go Down

Hi Hobgob,

Dropped in to see what all the fuss is about. I am now going to have read up on a Whites 808. Sounds like something I could use.

So what I understand here you have markers, animal markers and you feel they lead to a treasure? Heres what you gotta do.

If the markers are near, measure and mark each markers location on a map. If they are far, just draw a rough sketch as to where they are found. I would the shoot azimuths from each rock the animal is facing. Put those lines on the map. Find where the lines intersect and go to that position.

Now take out your map, and look 360', tell me what you see.

If you see nothing, your rocks are not helping. If you find treasure, I want 10%. Let me know when you get the treasure.

All funning aside. I know nothing about Yashimoto treasure. That is the best I can do for you. Good Luck.
