Full of TNT:

In Vietnam, the locals would just saw it in half with a Hack Saw with a Water bath and scrape out he TNT  .

Make home made Land Mines, like bouncing Bettie's and have a good time. Killing all the people I new!

TNT is a high Order Explosive.

It takes a Boom to make it Boom.  Detonator is in the fuse.  Primary Explosive.  Dynamite Cap!

I would call the closest Military base.

Maybe it's a cleverly disguised holder for the master decoder ring. Shocked

No, don't open it. Let the experts in the bomb squad do that. Just tell them to give you the ring. One ring to rule them all!

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.
Let's Talk Treasure!
