It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

1) Be aware that many islands rose from the sea. I have found coral and broken nautilus shells on top of hills which are hours drive from the sea. I hope you did not pay that old man anything.

2) As you may be aware, there are many places in Sarangani which produces natural gold. I have friends who started panning there late Nov last year. In the right place and with some hard work, a person can make PHP1000-1500 per weather-working day on a sharing basis with the land owner. You may wish to look into that, but please avoid illegal mines and the use of mercury.

Japanese plane hiding? does not make sense, you said the site is mountain top, was there a runway on that site? How did the Japanese planes hide, land and take off? Did you ask the old man how many people carried the boxes, how did they carried it up the Mountain, how does the box look like? Wooden or metal box? Did you find the tunnel then?. Ask the obvious questions my friend.
Use common sense my friend.

It is better to find out first the true history of the site and not telling by someone else, living pointer and the history of the place is the important, but if there was a box, try to find a good "sign" in that place, maybe it is a decoy or several piece of gold. It is better to post your picture in order for us to help you if that site is possible or not.

Good day.

The story is already not believable why do you still ask for pics, signs or markers? Even living pointers are deceiving if they really are as what they say they are. If the pointer know the specifics and the exact location why is this pointer not even interested into recovering the object doing it by himself or his immediate family?
I ask, if you know where the object is would you not do something about it. Again common sense my friend.
