Go Up Go Down

I am a Filipino Canadian, and knows somebody very close to me in the Sounthern part of the Philippines. There is this large well whom I know to have supplied most of the water needs of the Japanese Army on this area. The well is huge and has a deep of about 50 feet, it is made of hard concrete. Diggings were done before but finds nothing. The well is surrounded by large trees and big metal pipes prutrode about 100 feet away from them. I don't know if the pipes and trees are signs and symbols to indicate buried treasures. The well is still full of water and needs to have at least 14 submerseable pumps to drain so you can reach the bottom floor made of bulders pack in white substance. The past diggigs reached about 150 feet below the ground. On the first 75 feet is a marine flywood and after 100 feet a file of round logs, but when the logs are disengaged, obnoxious foul odor water surge up to the ground level in minutes, thus hulting the project for security and financial reasons.

Any comments or ideas on this matter could be useful on finding something that remains burried on this area if any.

Thanks..

If there was treasure there (Doubtful) , to excavate at that depth the cost would be $$ Immense $$ . This has parallels with the Oak Is money pit so probably the same outcome . Better off doing some research and investing your time in something which is not based on legend and misinformation (Yammi Treasure ) . cheers Mick

Thanks Mick, I was thinking the same way. I was really in doubt if the Yams treasure is true.
Many people in the Philippines have wasted so much money on this myth.

Regards No no!

Jyap, this is the information from Fil-YTH's that japanese army/navy during WW2 did not bury their loot inside the well.  The well is only used as their natural marker.

Many people in the Philippines have wasted so much money on this myth.

The country is a nation of two classes. The very rich and the desperately poor. The very rich claim to have their wealth from discovering a treasure (which masks their actual method of corruption and stealing) and the poor see any possible treasure as their way to wealth.

Sad really. Very sad.

Hi Rey,

Thanks for your insights,

I presumed that you are also Filipino like me, from what province are you Rey?
Our predicament really is where exactly is the spot if something is really beneath.
We don't have a clue nor having any map to serve as basis or guide.

Regards,

John

 [welcome]Hi Rey,

I am also originally from Mindanao (Davao) but now here in Canada.
I use to join treasure hunting when I was still in the Philippines. How is our country now?
It is a long while since I was home. I do speak Cebuano, Illonggo and Tagalog.

Regards,

John Clapp

What did you find when you were there?

We found nothing of great value except, old japanese beer bottles mark "Nippon Beer", hellmet, a number of diving mask, old pipes and a deformed rusted Lugger.
