SICARII;

Nice stone, its not moonstone, but it is different. I looks like a blue breccia or porphyry, neither of which, have I ever seen.

Moonstone is like fog, not quite clear and kind of reflective.... looks like the moon, might even be called selenite. Moonstones are common enough.

That stone, if it is not dyed, or artificially treated, might be valuable. It looks very much like Turquoise.

Rock shops around the world sell these rocks turned by machines into round shapes. Want more?

GoldDigger1950;

I can make the machine that makes the globes, so what? No no!

The globe is not unusual, the material is unusual.

I have been a rockhound for 57 years and the only material, I have seen, close to this, is copper related gem material, like turquoise, for instance. It sure did NOT occur in the Phillipines, as this type of material is dry-land sourced.... such as the Himalayas. (lots of turquoise there.)

It looks like porphory or more like a fine breccia... I have never heard of blue shades in either. PURPLE to pinkish or pink spotted porphory (sounds funny) does occur in the glacial gravel, here.

I understand what you are getting at, and it  may be true, but..... wait for it Great

I dont want to get the flying monkeys riled up..... again.

Hello SICARII . It could be Blue Granate or Brazilian Blue stone or Blue colored opal . Or Blue colored Jade . It is tough because your rock is un-polished and not a sharp picture ............Could it be from Mexico , South America or Australia ? Excellent Question !!!
HH...........Regards..........Eugene
