Any material that you want. I have a friend who imports them literally by the ton. Or should that be tons? Yes. Tons. His are made from rocks gathered from all over the world and machined in China. He tries to stay with Australian rocks but as you know, not every mineral or rock type is found everywhere.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

SICARII;

Nice stone, its not moonstone, but it is different. I looks like a blue breccia or porphyry, neither of which, have I ever seen.

Moonstone is like fog, not quite clear and kind of reflective.... looks like the moon, might even be called selenite. Moonstones are common enough.

That stone, if it is not dyed, or artificially treated, might be valuable. It looks very much like Turquoise.

Brian,

Yes, I had search about moosstone and this one is different, the closest one is opal and this stone is very common here in Phil.  I'll try dowsing it and post the result later.

Thanks,

Sicarii

Hello SICARII . It could be Blue Granate or Brazilian Blue stone or Blue colored opal . Or Blue colored Jade . It is tough because your rock is un-polished and not a sharp picture ............Could it be from Mexico , South America or Australia ? Excellent Question !!!
HH...........Regards..........Eugene

The group dug this accedentally here in Phil. Its inside a box

Google lapis under images.. there seems to be a lot of different varieties or rock from different quarries that even resemble turquoise

ksightler;

Dont need too Google, I know what lapis looks like and I know what labradorite looks like, labradorite was one of the first rocks I ever learned about, after agate and turquoise.

Im already way ahead of you, I thought of those and discarded them. Too expensive if anybody wanted to use them for an amscay.

I could tell you, by email, what they do look like but Im not going to post it.

GoldDigger1950- get your friend to produce a similar material, shape is not important, get a picture and post it. I dont think its a gem material.... we will see if it works for dowsing, dont get the flying monkeys going.
