Just a rational observation here, but your "marker" appears to have been created by being exposed to the elements, over a period of time. The meaning is a simple one....leave something outside, and it will erode after a period of time.

sir, for me thats not a treasure symbol/ sign for buried treasure,its just a natural figure with no meaning,please try to see 1 treasure sign found buried in the hole in tarlac town,luzon, the stone found in 1 dummy hole,but in line from spike pointer from the branch of a mangoe tree,the big branch of the mangoe tree was cut and inserted the japanese bayonet wich point on the treasure spot.some stone signs with mark are not always on the treasure hole but on the hole next to treasure hole.check it on my facebook photos..www.facebook.com....search romelbatak delacruz and you can have the idea on how the real treasure markers engraved in stone/ rock...
