New to TH - need advice

Sa lupa namin may malaking buhay na bato.
May heart na naka-ukit, at hindi yung basta2x lang pagkagawa. kasi pati curve nito talagang curved talaga. atsaka medyo malalim pagka-ukit at flat smooth surface ang ilalim. then malapit sa heart may naka-ukit ring right foot na pwede mong maipasok ang right foot mo talaga.
Since i've done my research they both mean treas undrnth at trail end.
Meron pa din palang tatlong engraved na butas na medyo malalim din.

Alam nating lahat gaano katigas tong mga buhay na bato so di kaya na ukitin ng basta2x lang na parang nag-uukit ng heart sa puno or with ordinary tools like chisels.

Now just yesterday, nakabalik kami sa site na yun kasi may dala na ang uncle ko ng metal detector.
Sa malaking bato malakas ang hum at kahit ilang feet surrounding the big stone.

So eto po details:
1. Tiningnan ko ang metal detector ng uncle ko and it is a Radioshack brand.
2. Volume ata yung knob sa left then yung knob sa right is option for ferrous and non-ferrous.
3. So obviously non-ferrous ang settings na ginamit.
4. Pag-uwi ko ni-research ko ang radioshack metal detector, at basing sa nakita ko parang obsolete technology na to for gold prospecting.
5. Ganito itsura ng met.det. na dala ng uncle ko:

6. So basing sa site ng radioshack it is a Beat-frequency oscillation (BFO) type.
7. Ni-research ko rin kung ano ang common non-ferrous metals and they are - aluminum, brass, copper, lead, zinc,titanium, and nickel.

Adding all those together, i need your comments based on experience,knowledge etc.
If those non-ferrous metals are common then why is the sensor detecting it only on the big stone and the ground area surrounding it within 5 feet? At wala na sa malayo na sa big stone.

Last but not the least, sana maayos sagot kasi yan ang rason kung bakit meron tayong exclusive pinoy forum. kasi di naman tayo siniseryoso ng mga dayuhan doon sa th forum para sa lahat eh. sino pa ba magtutulungan eh di tayo kapwa pilipino.

forgot to include another detail, yung indicator na malapit sa handle which says sensitivity yung lumalabas na reading is nasa sensitivity 2.

Bro do not get offended, hindi talaga tatama yong left foot kasi yong naka ukit ay right foot kaya only the right foot fits.

Anyway I can't comment on it unless there is a History on that place that the Japs was present in that place before. Meron din similar foot signs also curve on a big rock na pinakita sa amin about 8 years ago and there are other markers around the rock pero yong mga other markers ay naturaly in place on my opinion and hindi ko mabasa katulad ng kanilang nakikita kong ano mang shape ang sabi nila yong marker. I think they conclude just to satisfy their imagination.

They excavated the place where they said the signs are pointing only in their disapointment after hard work and many years na paghuhukay wala nangyari butas lahat ang bulsa nila.

Bro it's really hard for me to comment and I do not want you to be disapointed and I think you are not using the right scanner as you said product of Radio Shock para sa mga shallow metals at lost coins  lang ang ability ng scanner ninyo. And beside scanners are not reliable as most other believe here that a good and right  scanner will lead to the treasure. If that's the case siguro 75% has succeeded already but nothing yet to prove that scanners make it easy for the TH.

Bro only the old method is still the most reliable with the right knowledge, technique, common sence and experienced is the best thing to go. But even with live pointers hindi pa rin sigurado. Kasi baka ang na witness ng pointer ay yong unang pagbabaon lang or yong tinatawag na decoy.
