Hi there,

From the pictures that you have posted, it appears that the bar could not be nickel but more of lead.  I have seen numerous
pictures of metals and actual samples  of this kind especially the one with marking--American Smelting and Refining Co with 5 X embossed in the bar (See Attached Pictures).  There are those that are nickel based, lead based and zinc based. Sadly though I am of the opinion that many scammers are using the few samples and victimizing unsuspecting people (me included). My more than 2 decades of involvement in TH and in looking for this commodities spanning the entire provinces of visayas and mindanao proved to be an exercise of futility.  My conclusion is -- there are no volume stocks or finds of this nickel babbit thing although I can tell you the whole story about how this came to the Philippines as part of the scam of ASARCO to raise the value of their stocks during the 1940's.

I suggest that if you have a real find and the volume is substantial you need to have it assayed in qualified laboratories.  If it is Lead, Zinc or Nickel, I will recommend to you serious and real volume buyers from China or Japan which are currently my associates in my mining ventures.

if you will not ask upfront money, we deal, inside the bank.  both of us safe. i have personally seen one like that but the seller asked for upfront money so no deal
