I want to know how deep is the engrave X in the stone, and what  is size  of the mark.... can your ring finger fit unto it? is it finely marked?
for the shoe how deep is the carving
again for the Z mark, my question is same with the  X mark you have mentioned above

I feel the death of a poor tree coming.

Taurus, that X sign is directional since their length is not equal (the longer side is 6 inches which serve as an arrow, so follow that direction and investigate what you'll find after a 6 meters distance.)  Since that shoe and eye markers are both pointing/looking to that old acacia tree, then there's a possibility that what your looking for is near that tree.  My humble opinion.
