There is absolutely no way to tell from a photograph. Sorry.

as small as this it weigh 1.2 kgs and if you stare it under the heat of the sun or under ultraviolet light you can see light of rainbows inside the stone we hardly break the stone using 10kgs hammer we call it in our local dialect as maso for hitting 5x nothing happened it only bouncing just like hitting a hammer in a ball somebody told me try a sand paper if re-shape but still nothing change of the stone now maybe somebody out there knows about this?this is a stone not a metal and if you have japanese signs try to look for rock enclosed treasure.i will attached the stone map were it came from this is just a gift we have plenty of signs coming from the site.

NOT diamond.   Diamond is the hardest naturally known substance when it comes to scratch test.  However, diamonds are fragile when it comes to receiving sharp blows from 10 kg hammers.   And in case anyone finds being hard difficult to square with being fragile, here is what the experts say

Spot on, BA. These guys believe every rock is sacred.

Question: "If the Japanese were able to enclose treasure inside such a rock with such properties as you describe, how the heck did they manage to lose the war to us ignorant barbarians?"

As a professional diamond diver I can tell you that what you have is nothing more than a water stone Ho indecently like BA said diamonds will be crushed with a hammer, but if you take a big pair of pliers and try to crush it you wont be able to, also rough diamonds have a blurry look in water and will reflect UV light in the dark. Just one more thing diamonds do not have a specific shape they can be round, square, or any other geometrical shape.
