They are very, very rare to find. In fact, some believe they don't exist and with good reason. Nobody in their right mind would put arrows that point to something you want to keep hidden.

Don't waste your time.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

GD told you right sorry guy. Out of the 1000's of signs that have been posted here none not one was anything more then a rock.

You are going about this the wrong way. To find treasure you first need to prove that the treasure is there and not just a legend, you need to do this thru research not by finding a rock out of place and claiming its a treasure sign. To many lazy folks all over the world are looking for a short cut sorry man there ain't one

Lets See Here.

I'm a Colonel for the King of Spain.

I'm Commissioned, Funded and Shipped to the Americas to Qua triple the Kings Monies for him.

If I complete My Mission, I'm set for life.

If I fail I'm put to the Rack.

I wander the Americas Jungles, Deserts, Half my Men Die from Disease.

The half of the other half Jump ship and go Native on me Things are getting sorta Ugly here.

Now I just have a quarter of the people I started with.

The Desert Got Hot and All my men Abandoned there Cool Intimidating Armor we had .

Findlay a bit of luck.

We find some Native Americans working a Stream and Ledge full of Gold.

We make peace with them buy using our few muskets to bring in Game to feed them.

One night after a good meal of Venusian and Rabbit My Men and I wake up  in the wee hours , Kill them all and take the Mined Gold.

We know they was getting from the Hill and We Know just about how they did it.

We have Enough to Appease the King and Tell him there is Tons of it there.

After years out here without the Kings Help this is a good thing.

We head to the Nearest Port to get back home and make the report.

Now do I make a Map, Signs and All to tell others of the Goodies or do I just make few obscure notes in my Journal of the Location, Rock Formations and Comment the rest to Memory?

This way if the King is not happy with the little that I was able to bring home , Only I can make the second trip to the location.

Lucky for me only I and my Latent made it to port even if we had to hire porters to get the Gold we found on ship.

your going to find Treasure Maps way more then just Chinked Rocks.

At most there will be a Pock Mark in a rock that only one or two People know what it means.

Any one that says this is the Marks they Used is Useless.  There only tied up in there Own Imagination.
