G'day au, he's trying his best but im not convinced he's heading the right way because with a detector he could find a bob or two at local public places and not risk his life doing it and if he finds some treasure no matter how small then good on em ay

Durai, speaking from a prospector's point of view, those water-worn rocks are probably from a river from long ago which dried up or changed it's course. 3rd photo from the left shows such rocks in a trench you dug. If the area you are in has been known to produce gold, you may wish to explore for that. The inside bend of an ancient river may contain much placer gold. But if those rocks had been transported by human hands there to build someone's wall, then the area may not be productive.

One possible clue I can see of the direction of that river's water flow is the 6th photo. Note how the wear on the rock is tapered at one point. If this clue is viable, then you can extrapolate the lay of the river from that and other similarly-worn rocks.

This is not an indication of treasure. Japanese garrisons were just places where the soldiers could collectively be safe from battle. To believe there is treasure there is a mistake and a waste of time.

The only saving grace at the moment is that it is YOUR time and not anyone else's time. When you start asking for help or money, then you ARE wasting other people's time. In addition, you create false hope over a fairy tale told by your old people who would have been mere children during the Japanese occupation. They would not have any usable knowledge for you at all.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

So what the heck are you searching for, you have no tool/equipment or detectors etc,

Because the Yamashita Treasure has been done to Death, as I have said before we have over 10,000 members here from your country all looking for it and no one has ever found One Grain/Gram of it
