The marking are definitely man made.  One of the stone with face is a sign.  Do not rely on one method to get it.  Resources and planning is one of the aspect you have to deal with.  Even choosing people who will dig is important. Since the offer is attractive this means they will get more out of the deal...

Advice take time to analyze the facts.  You may start by cleaning the object.  Think not only inside but also outside the box.  For example you focus on the YAMA sign but the stone looks like a hand.  In the end use your instinct as you will be alone in the quest. Can we borrow your nokta, Hehehe...
