goldigger, thanks for the clarification. Some people are planning to use it on a suspected treasure bunker for possible bullions in a site owned by a friend. There are other signs and the layering is similar to these site

I wonder if they will be succesful in identifying what is inside, if ever there is.

explorer125;

Ask him to describe the probes.... there are three basic types:
1) the best has three probes mounted/fixed on a metre long rack, so three probe points, stick into the ground always at the same distance;

2) next best has only 2 probes;

3) the worst (old technology) is 2 separate probes (rods,) on cables that do not penetrate the ground to the same depth, every time.

Number 1 has probes that always stick into the ground to the same depth, every time, and the probes are always spaced the same, for every reading.... I think you can see the difference it could make, with less false readings.

 Hello Hi ram! I'm new here.. just registered 4 d sake of curiousity. Seems like u know a lot 'bout treasure signs and codes. I attach herewith a picture of an item which my t-hunter friend say contains diamonds. I'd like to know if you can identify it as authentic yamashita treasure or just a fraud. We choose not to open it for purposes of not depreciating its value in case it turns out to be genuine. It has these words carved in a bowling ball-like encasement: SAIYAYSA USSR. My friends had many times opened items which resemble this one but they differ in some aspects, like the weight, size and the letters engraved. This one is heavier, bigger and the letters were not just written but engraved.

I will appreciate your opinion on this matter.

Take it to your favorite medical clinic and pay to have an X-ray of the item done. It may not have anything inside.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Why.... if it says USSR, is it in Roman letters, instead of Cyrillic?

It looks explosive!

Yes, do an xray! Do not attempt to open with out an xray! Promise your doctor  a cut, if it IS diamonds

I was offered a similar sphere in '94 by a Tausug woman. Her story was a Russian sub ran aground in Mindanao and broke up and the sphere was uranium from the sub. The asking price was US$20k. I thanked her for the tale and walked away. Grin
