 Hello in connection with my posting about the discovery of my father of a suspecious metal in our ricefield. It has a mark in the front WSMC and a hole formed like a handle which you can put your four fingers in it and has a small 3 holes in it in front while the other 2 small holes are in the upper part of the metal it was suspected to be a platinum. when we conduct a heat test the said item will heat but easily cool down and when we try to saw eat it is kinda soft inside. The discription is that it wieghs 8 Kls in a wieghing scale of rice and has 5 sides. I hope anybody could help me in identifying this item and can send me information regarding the markings found in the said item. Your help is highly appreciated.

Hi PEP,
I think I know what this mystery metal is....WSMC stands for Water Supply to Macau Company.
This company looks after water and sewage in the Philippines.  You say it has a handle, maybe this device the water valve on and off who knows? I would make sence, the water inside the ricefield is used again right?

This metal is an alloy and probably a marker of some sort. I dont think its Platinium, and i dont think its treasure.Sorry .
If you have a concrete vault measuring 2feetx4feet by 2 feet deep in the corner of your rice field please let me know. Hope this helps.
