Go Up Go Down

1.  know the history of  the area during WW2 and study the place carefully.
2.  Analyze carefully what the "MARKER" means and not dependent on treasure code books.
3.  Remember that almost all treasures are burried/hidden using 'COMPASS' so learn how to use it.
4.  Finding a "MARKER" on a place, you must look/find the "COUNTER MARKER", and those not mean that the treasure is located there, it maybe far away.
5.  Just remember that"DRAWING IS A UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE" , so the "MARKER" is a language that speaks to itself, and
6.  Do treasure hunting as a "HOBBY" and not as a profesion.

1,2, and 6 are some of the best advise ever to be posted here by a person who believes that treasure was buried and that whoever took the time to bury it also "marked" it.   The other 3 points may or may not also be true, but they represent a more logical approach to finding any treasure that MIGHT have been buried in the PI than what you're going to find in all the other posts by those who believe treasure was buried there combined.

Look if you're convinced the Yamashita Treasure is out there and just waiting for you to uncover it, you're probably wasting your time and money.....BUT if it does exist, you've got a better chance of finding it following the 6 guidelines posted than you will consulting all "Treasure Code" experts.   After all, if the codes in those books are right, the gold has probably already been found by the folks who wrote the books.

Can’t argue with logic Smiley

Hi Ray,
What do you exactly mean at point 4 with a "counter marker"? Does it mean
that a line has to be followed up? Say found marker 1 that leads you
marker 2. Is marker 2 than the counter marker for 1?
Is that what you want to explain here?

I'm new here. Sorry if that is a stupid beginners question. Don't know.

Thanks

Rey has been muted because he is not at all as experienced and knowledgeable as he claims to be. He will mislead you and perhaps put you in danger with his advice. Please be careful here.

As to your question, a "counter marker" is one meant to mislead you on purpose. The term is inaccurate. There is no such thing as a "marker" but the term "mark" works, which is a treasure map tool. If you wanted to lead someone away from your treasure instead of towards it, you might put false information onto a map or a field mark. For example, some people would change the meaning of every third mark, sending people who want to steal your treasure on the wrong path.

A final note here. In more than 40 years on the treasure trail in a variety of places around the world, I have only ever found one map that lead to treasure and that was one drawn on the back cover of a family Bible which led me to a Grandpa's "Bank of Creek Deposits." In reality, those who bury treasure to not leave a map pointing to it. They do not leave arrows all around pointing to it. They keep it very, very secret and only trust their own memory or those of their trusted family or friends.

Think for a moment. If you wanted to bury a treasure, whatever that might be, would you want some stranger to come along and dig it up? Would you want it to fall into the hands of a person who could open a little book of treasure marks and follow your trail? Of course not. And neither did those who buried treasure in the past. Don't waste your time reading anything "treasure" into the marks you see in the world. They probably point to a long gone water hole or a long ago meeting place. Nothing more.
