a small circle of Japanese (mostly Royal family) were responsible in securing burial of gold and platinum bullion and gems in phils.
They called this operation Golden Lily, which also did some terrible things elsewhere. Golden Lily's over all boss is Prince Chichibu, one of Emperor Hirohito's three brothers.
Prince Takeda Tsuneyoshi (Kimsu) was in charge of northern Luzon and Ben (his filipino driver) drove him around to various places where vaults of gold were being buried. Ben also knew Prince Chichibu well.
Ben is one of the information sources which a treasure hunting group has. One of their main workers actually married Ben's daughter.
