I muted junjun because of language used in his last post I also hide the post for now but will edit it and unhide after all the mod team has seen it.

I am sorry it came to this but it happens when folks ask questions and don't get the answers they want. Nonsense post will get nonsense answers.

I don't know much about japanese rock turtles. But a good while back, I had been working a site(spanish). At this site a rock turtle was found,,,  having no legs as well. It had a tail and a head though. Except for the head had been cut/broke off. NOTHING was beneath nor near this find. But what I did find was a concealed cave in the direction the tail pointed. Inside was NOTHING. All that was left was a deep impression into the soil-where a heavy chest once rested. (Reinaldo---beat me to that one as well as several others)

junjun,
If your stone turtle have a head and tail, you have to consider the head and tail as a pointer. In our site the head is pointing to a concealed cave which have nothing at all, but the tail is pointing down to the ravine (lugot) and which the gadget also give a positive result for precious metals. Good luck and happy hunting.

wyoming,
If your tail is pointing to a concealed cave, your very lucky. Look for the next sign & marker inside the cave. The treasure is usually hidden at left side of the cave, find a sign that indicates a stone door like at left side.

Lol,,all  that  was in the   cave  was a  impression from a heavy square  object,  I also failed to  mention a carved   shapes  of  different  swords.
But also,,nothing found  to  the left.  To the  right now was  different--dual  turtles carved into cliff   face,,4  different  faces all  sharing same  space,,,be  it an  ( ear-mouth,eye  ) each looking a  different direction.  oh--also an indian and   a medival  knight share same  rock  they are carved  into  as well.

Go Up Go Down

I am almost ashamed to tell this one on myself: Almost!

I was on my way back to Alaska one summer and stopped for a meal at a Restaurant in Yukon Territory.
A bus load of Seniors was just finishing up and some of them were on the way down the steps toward the Tour Bus when one of those ol' gal's noticed a Turtle shaped Rock upon which some enterprising young kid had painted a Turtle shell design.

The lady said some thing like: "Oh look, I didn't know they had Turtles up here!"

In a flash my evil mind came up with this one. I played it out to the hilt and soon I had a whole crowd of old Ladies around me listening to my sad tale of Nature gone all wrong.

I said:
"Those are Arctic Turtles.
Every Winter the slow moving things will Freeze in place. In spring, the Frozen things begin to thaw.

All the predators are on the Hunt and will take any little thing they can get for food.
These poor Turtles are frozen all winter long and when they begin to Thaw, the legs, tail and head thaw first while the Turtle is still stuck to the Earth with ice under his belly.
So when the Predators come along and find the little morsels sticking out from under a rock they Dine.
Eventually the Turtle is found by some artifact hunter and brought down to  Cafe's and Tourist Attractions like this one."

And quickly I went up the steps and ducked into the Diner and behind me was a chorous of Oh's and Ah's and "the poor things" etc.
Poor ol' ladies. I wonder how many of them were well on their way before the 'tourist Scam' hit them? Funny

The sad thing GD is that the turtle sign has been used as far back as the Egyptian and maybe older, it was used by the Spanish in the new world and is still used today by coyote's and smugglers along the Mexico border but its only a sign pointing at water. In the last 20 years the armchair conspiracy nuts have decided that its a treasure sign with the internet it has spread all over the world even the Yammy boys are now firm believers in the nonsense.
Out of the 100's of signs posted here over 90 % are just natural rock formations that folks are trying to read to much into
