Thank you BitburgAggie_7377, Golddigger1950 and homefire for your response. But up to what depth can a good metal detector or GPR reach? Can you mention good ones if it is allowed here in the forum? What about Garret GTI 2500 and Makro New Jeo_Hunter 3D Dual System?

The Garrett GTI 2500 is a good machine, but a bit heavy (even though you can clip the battery pack on your belt).   Just don't expect to pick up single coins much deeper than 20 to 30 centimeters with it.

Is that so, thanks for the information! We opened some websites here in the Philippines, some distributors are claiming that their MDs can detect up to 25 feet or more depending on the attachments to be used.  Unfortunately most of them are not based here in the Philippines but in some other countries. We have seen also a Garret 2500 here sold thru the internet but I doubt if it is the original one. I have asked a friend in the US to help me look for MDs in the USA by giving him the websites I have opened. But according to him, he could not open the websites there in the USA. Could these sellers be up to something not good as you need to send the money first?  The item might not be sent at all!

A dual coil "two box" system can detect down to around 20 feet but only very large objects. Nothing smaller than a manhole cover. Garrett makes a few models that can use dual coils in the two box configuration.

Do you want to give us the names of one or two sites? I will try to check them out here in Australia.
Perhaps without the 3xw

Not to 40 feet. Maybe to around 25 feet at most.

I forgot to mention that depth like that (25 feet) can only result when the target is quite massive. Not only that but you can't use it to detect a cave or a cavern. Only metal.
