Hello redtangent122

A description of dig site would help?

How deep is you shaft?

The shaft vertical or 45% slope?

Is there streams nearby?

What type of ground your digging in, is is soil or linestone, sandstone etc..?

Are you using timber supports for the shaft?

What type of mining equipment you have?

Is the site at the top or bottom of a hill?

Is the water comming from the top of the hole or through the botom of the hole.

Keeping water out of excavated shaft is very complex and dangerous if not done properly.

Hardluck

the site is under an old tree and near by the creek. The water is flowing at the bottom of our site. We suspected that we had already hit the bed of the item coz its already deep and we hit the sand.

If your digging below the water line, pumps could help.

What makes you think there is anything below that point?

Only people in the Fictional Books made water traps.

Has the water table raised in the past years?

Here it has lowered.
