i just felt that your already in the edge of your digging as if frustration starts creeping in now, that happens when a treasure hunter keeps on pushing too much. how i wish someone here would help you. hard earned money is not easy to solicit considering your project is not that clear.

even your partner is the son of the japanese general that buried the booty according to you. that seems to raise red flags.
did he know where the treasure is buried and how deep? if so then at the start your project you must have prepared your budget up to the point of recovery. or are you only assuming an old story? how credible is that? i can help you for about 10,000usd BUT how reliable are you? and your story?

another one bites the dust here?

Sorry but I have just sent off my bank information to a gentleman who has $4,000,000 in an African bank. (his father was a former government offical and he needs to have the money sent to another person.) I am promised a healthy return of around $1,000,000. I know that many others on this forum will be more than happy to help you out. You just caught me at a bad time.

Cheers and good luck,

Mike

maturemike,

I said i will meet with someone in person to feel each other out and perhaps take it from there before either one of us commits to anything.

Is this in some way confusing to you? If so, can you please explain so I can avoid confusing the other members.

Thank you so much.

Dog44wgm thank you for your straightforward reply. I completely understand your stance to not farm out your current dig site. Frankly speaking, if I was in a similar situation I would feel the same way.
Over the past 12 years I have met at least 5 non-Asian t-hunters in a similar predicament, and I find nothing unusual in your safety precautions. Hang tuff and good luck.

Disclaimer: I am neither advocating nor condemning Dog44wgm's proposal. As with most things in life, CAVEAT EMPTOR.

Hobbyist, thanks for the non-judgmental attitude. I welcome healthy skepticism.

Assuming for a minute that I actually succeed in finding an investor here, this is how I foresee it happening ...

1. Answer his questions here as best I can without giving away specifics.
2. Reveal more to him in private messages.
3. Reveal more to him via email and skype.
4. Meet him in person (Manila or surrounding province only).
5. Have him sign a non-disclosure agreement.
6. Allow him to meet my partner and review documents.
7. Allow him to visit the site.*
8. Sign a contract and accept his investment.

* We may or may not require a small non-refundable investment before we allow him to visit the site. It will depend on the level of trust we have achieved at that point.

This sequence is not carved in stone, the point is that the money comes last, after meetings in person.

Here's where most of our money went. This is not our current operation, this is the previous one, a very deep and diffi dig. Unfortunately for us a typhoon triggered a catastrophic landslide burying everything even deeper than it was before. The current project is an easier job, we figured we had enough money left to finance it.

I'm curious to see if there is someone out there who knows what he's looking at.

The previous picture looks down on the top of the chamber we were digging for. It was such a difficult job that, I admit, at times even I had doubts about my partner's sanity. But, after digging that deep and uncovering the man-made structure exactly where he said we would find it, I was convinced beyond any doubt. I was already feeling confident near the end of the dig because there were vertical marker posts buried along the way, leading to the chamber.

This next pic gives an idea of the scale of the operation. Again, this is the previous operation, not the current one. The site was on the side of mountain. You can see for yourself that we should not have been surprised by the landslide. The rainy season was coming on, we were impatient and foolish. It's lucky no one was killed, mercifully the slide happened during the night.

That's a pretty huge dig down there and it looks dangerous especially during rainy season. Did you have a DENR permit for that? I'm sure this can already be noticed from aerial view.

dog44wgm, i'm very sure you are a victim of the pinoy mudos. and i'm very very sure..to counter the modus you should do this then you will be amazed the result. secretly in your excavation area w/out the knowledge of any one in your group, make a treas signs secretly then show it to your partner. then observed them to their reactions. this kind of modus is very rampant in mindanao. but the idea i gave to you is very effective also to counter them.

only a ninja's way can kill the ninja. (the pinoy's saying.)
