Outback , Happy Newyear to you too . About the church treasures of Lima ? There is some truth to it . Better read the stories in the book  ,, The Buccaneers of America  ,, by John Esquemeling  . The book was published in Amsterdam  in 1678 .  ( ISBN 0-88029-149-4 )   or ... Become a member of the Hakluyt society . or   The Linschoten society .  Then after putting in about 40 years of research , lets talk pirates and shipwrecks  again .  Regards  Cornelius

They're quite funny to me, Outback. I enjoy watching the proceedings and poke a bit of fun in their general direction now and again. The problem isn't that they discuss it, mate. It's that they get a bit aggressive when you challenge their ideas about treasure. It seems to me that they have built a cargo cult around the process of FINDING a treasure instead of around determining IF there is a treasure. Most treasure hunters are smart enough to spend effort first on whether or not there IS a treasure before they start looking at cracks in a boulder as magical signs.

Some come here looking for help. If they want to find only POSITIVE help, they, not we, should go to a place where that can happen. If they want dishonesty, they can surely find it among their peers. If they want honesty, they came to the right place.

They don't want honesty GD they want you tell them they on the right tract and maybe invest a little money to help them out.
