Looks like a big iminigation. When the Japanese leave a sign u cannot mistake it. You dont have to outline with pen or color to make a picture. The Japanese use very percise signs. When u see one it will get ur attention very quick.

well kent..here's my thoughts...if you want to leave a very valuable thing in a place that is not yours or to be specific..( In a foreign Land )...and you know the facts that you "might" not get it back again due to lots of reason or it might be some local TH will recover it at hand before you.. my question is?... would you make a marker that allows everybody can read or interpret can catch attention to everybody when they see the said marker because its well done or precise? or would you make a marker that are not so well done or precisely done on a first glimpse but you have recorded it in you books and your team or your successors only will know anytime you want to recover it?...

You are right about signs. I would say most treasures have a landmark to identify the area where treasure is burried. A majority of the treasures are burried no more than 25 feet and a lot of them less than that. The one who burried the treasure has a map that tell him where to dig once he finds the landmark. A lot of the times no more markers are needed because he has the map with the directions. If the treasure is very big the treasure could be 100 feet deep. The markers then are big and very percise. A lot of times markers are only travel signs that are directions to another area. I can go out to a rock pile and find all the markers i want if i want to iminage a design on the rock. I once visited a third eye who wanted the people to bring a rock from their site and he would take a pencil and find some imiage on the rock and outline it and tell the people they have a marker and charge them a fee. not good. From what i see i think those are just rocks. It dont mean u dont have a treasure in ur area.

i understand your point.. just for you info..this place was visited more than 20 times by a different group of TH foreigners and locals who wants to dig it other have maps with them according to the land owner..but the owner don't know them and afraid to gamble with those strangers they we're rejected....well i have lots of intriguing supports but thats all i can share ;).. we just hope that we'll be successfull on our project i'll let you know.. ;)

I dont want to discourage u from ur site. Like I said before u could have treasure site, I just disagree about the rock signs. I have been at many sites from northern luzon, in the Visiayas, and many places in mindanao, like CDO bukinkion, monlia fortress, zambongia, davao, Samaurl Island, Tagum Sairgo del sur, Iligan, and Marawi. I know the later was a little dangerous.
The question u should ask urself when looking at a sign. Can this be made by nature or definite man made. Always keep open mind. Good luck, If I can be help, let me know.

Do a research first about the area. This can be done by interviewing "old timers" in the area. Then make a map out of it. Then get a PI to scan the area. Again, put it in the map. Then study the map carefully where your priorities (activities) will depend. Then pray & dig.Good luck!!!

Leaves are way too transitory and any from that era would surely be gone by now. Petrified rocks are not likely either as they are far too old.

A FROG marker means follow the direction of the nose, the object is eitber in water, pond, spring or creek.
