Hello!
I'm also a treasure hunter since year 2000 and we found deposits 3 times in deferent areas but sad to say we cannot pulled it out due to many reasons of water trap that we encountered and uncontrolled place after they knows the presence of object. Can you help me on how to register to ''THAPI"
(Treasure Hunters Association Of The Philippines)? At this time we have a digging at about 37 to 40ft below the ground, and according to the reference base on Japanese formula that i have, we found now the deposit after those many signs, cements and various of traps we pass.
My problem now is the brgy. captain who required me a DENR Permit Which I don't have.
I have authorization from THAPI given from one of my friend as he is the coordinator of thapi in entire mindanao. But when i told him about the problem and ask his assistance he refused. I don't know why? Pls. if you know about THAPI, pls help me on how to register as a member and how to contact theme directly for some assistance. Here is my no. 09066084861. Thanks!

Hi,
I encountered the same with barangay people. In some respect, they want a share without any sweat. And now trying to be corrupt. He could be right to have a DENR permit but that will be a bloody requirement.
What I did before was to abort my project and wait for another barangay officials. After then, I secured a permit as a deep wheel - but it did not worked out since it is under the franchise of the water district. What the group decide is to buy the lot (only in papers - covered by Deed of Sale). In short, we got what we intend to do with the lot. We put a fence and dugged down to 60 ft. and all what we got are antiques during meng dynasty. We really don't have a nice price and some of our groups are keeping it for souveners. For me, I am working on with the marketing side for a better price of the antiques. Until now, all I got were all posting as buyers and not one came out to be true. I'm sending information to HongKong for bidders for the auction sale. Hope we can be in for this. Keep trying seeking permits from other source. For sure you will find one - make sure you are dealing with the right person. Good luck. Happy hunting..........andad
