DSC02572.jpg Character on the left : gentleman/scholar/soldier. Character on the right: compare/liken.
The rest are too blur and fuzzy to make out. I suggest you borrow a camera with a good macro capability.

1.jpg: are you sure you didn't add or miss out a stroke? Closest match is "Harmony", 2nd closest match is "phesant" based on the radical.
2.jpg and 3.jpg: as per my last post.
4.jpg, 7.jpg and 8.jpg: not harigana characters.
5.jpg: the number 3.
6.jpg: foreign/ocean/western.

It is interesting that they would use inconsistent languages for numbers (14 and 3).The bottle was probably intended for export.  4.jpg and 8.jpg are most likely markings that indicate the batch/factory. It's a nice find. Smiley

Of course it is possible ... but chances are around 0.0% ... what you have there is an empty mass produced Sake bottle. It worth as much as throwing out an empty San Miguel bottle into your garden and waiting for 60 years ... don't know what it will be worth then ... probably nothing.

Don't get me wrong but something is wrong with you Pino "treasure" hunters. Finding Japanese waste is by NO means related to treasure in any way ... jsut try to stay down to earth ...

Or would you mark a treasure with an empty bottle of San Miguel?!
