Cracked bottle

(1/1)

spotxxx:
I found this old cracked bottle under a Kalios / Streblus asper / Sandpaper tree...
some says that this sandpaper tree is considered as a century plant... the bottle is thick, transparent dark green, and coated with thin cement...
I read some treasure hunting articles/facts..that crack old bottles may indicate that the area is positive for treasure hunting... I hope you can help me identify what kind? where it originated? here is the pictures...

A cracked bottle is not a sign of treasure. It is a sign of a long ago binge.

Broken glass (broken bottles, plates, etc) is an indicator that people have been in the area for a while.   They have sat and rested and if enough broken pieces are present, may have even lived in the area for a while.  That means they may also have accidentally dropped a coin or two or possibly lost a ring.    It isn't a sign of buried treasure, at least not probably the kind of treasure you are thinking about.   But it is an indication to someone interested in finding finding broken and twisted spoons and forks and the odd bit of metal that this is a good place to look for those kind of things....and if they are lucky and the broken glass is old enough, they might even find A coin or two that is older than they are.

1) That bottle is way much more than just 'cracked'.
2) A favorite security feature of many Filipino houses is the 'broken glass embedded on top of cement walls'. Much more resilient to intrusion attempts than barbed wire.

Put those two clues together and I'll say you came across a remnant of some construction project.

It's not because there are no houses that there can't be a bottle there. If you go out on a long walk you will take water with you ,no? well I take beer much better than water and the guy that dropped the bottle well he drank wine. It's not a treasure it's a broken bottle and quite an old one by the looks of things so keep looking you may even find something of value.
