Go Up Go Down

These are the bottles my family, father and I had found in one dig location. All of these were found in one day, with two trips. I'm guessing there are still alot more here that haven't been discovered yet. There are so many little ones, big ones, and colored ones. I am redoing the bottle garden to house all of the big ones only, and putting all of our rockhounding finds outside in the garden as well.

I also took pics of all the other misc. stuff we found there too. Jewelry, silverware, etc.

We kept the group of soda bottles together because they are so cool together. We found 2 Pepsi, 1 Coca-Cola, 1 Mission, 1 7Up, 1 Stevens, and a couple Clorox and Lysol bottles. I also found a Calvert shot glass??? never heard of it before.

We found ink wells and auto products and so many more to ever be able to list. Sorry

Love those marbles.......... Kiss

Most of what I can see and tell, you  have a mixed pre and post WWII site.
Dig deeper and you may find older pre stuff.

Pic #4 the smallest spoon is a toy, aluminum. Good find.

I quit keeping the soda bottles unless they are extrodinary. Just accumulate too quickly.
The Christmas and the 1918 Coca Cola bottles are target keepers.
Both have Patent dates on the bottles.

Lot's of good stuff in those sites keep them comming.

Nice finds! I was m/d last week, and one of the things I discovered was what looked like a small perfume bottle! It had a big red letter "U" on it, and I'm guessing that it was from the University of Utah. However, strangely I didn't think that they'd make a University perfume bottle? Doesn't that seem strange?
It's about 2-3 in high, 1/2 in thick, and about 2 in wide with a small aluminum cap.

Enjoyed the pictures of your bottles and other finds. Nice collection. Any idea what those huge safety pins might have been used for? Sue

When I was a kid, we used to go to the local swimming pool. They didn't have lockers, so they would give you a wire basket (I found one of those baskets on a hunt too) and when you checked your basket into the desk you got one of these giant diaper pins to attach to your bathing suit. When you were done swimming you would give them the pin and they would give you your basket with your clothes in them.
