I once worked for a paint factory in Windsor, Ontario.  They decided to build a new warehouse.  The construction company dug trenches for the foundations and dug right through a dump site.  There were old bottles sticking out of the dirt walls of the tranch.  A lot of the guys brought bottles home, me included.
Now the site is under the warehouse and the road way around it.  Just goes to show that caches can be anywhere.
