Finally got the pictures taken of the bottles we collected on last week's road trip.  Personal favorites are the small oval shape Bayer aspirin bottle from 1938, the set of 3 graduated bottles manufacted by Illinois Bottling (have the 1, 3, and 4 oz sizes), the little Lysol bottle, the smallest bottle (stamped Pyrex), and the little one with the crooked neck.

Oh, I have a good story to share relating to old bottles.... my dad used to be an operating engineer and worked on heavy equipment - helped to build the bridge footings/smoothing and other landscape work with a piece of equipment called a Gradall. Anyway, during the course of an average day/week he'd from time to time dig up some old things that would catch his eye. Sometimes these were in-tact old bottles. After he retired about five years ago, he still had several gunny-sacks FULL of these old/antique bottles. He really didn't want to do anything with them, so he sold them all to the local antique dealer in town for $400!
I'm sure some of you are just frothing at the mouth about this... I don't know the dealer's name, but I'm sure I could find out if you are wanting to contact them.
