Hi Johnnn That is definatly exactly the same but yours has gold instead of silver. I live in the UK and hav never gone abroad yet did you come over to detect or did you live here? So its horse jewlery i can now picture it on a horse now you have said that the only reason i thought it was a pin brooch was the marks on the back where the pin would of gone and i have seen a few on internet that are very similar theres 1 on ebay at the moment. Thanks for clearing it up tho for a minute i thought i had bagged a pukka find! I just want to try and identify my hammered coin now. You have been a great help! Thanks again!  Great

For those of us Yanks state-side most don't have a clue what the pukka reference is! Wink
So, I had to go look that one up.. I tried my luck with Wikipedia and I'm guessing that this just is another word for 'excellent' or 'absolutely genuine' or 'first class'?

Hi Lee,
I have been in Canada 28 years, I was detecting in England quite some time before I came over, born and raised in London's East end.
I do come over quite often with a visit coming up in July August when I will dust off my machine closely garded by my old mum.......HH.......Johnnn

Hi Seldom,
I most certainly will, my nephew got me onto a farm in Essex UK that I had a quick look over last time I was there I was so overwhelmed at getting this place to myself, and believe me you just do not know where to start, but thats a good problem to have.
I will give you a heads up when I go and if possible post pix from there.
HH.............Johnnn
