I refuse to buy at a site that does not make their prices public. I become suspicious of them. Are they offering different prices to different people?

I went there, tried to look at the Fisher detectors and the link was broken. All in all, their prices may be pure magic but if I can't see them or see what they are selling, they're not for me. If they're friends of yours, you might tell them this.

Not friends of mine. I was told a price over the phone for a scoop. Just thought I would do a good deed and share this site. Your preference not to buy from them. Makes me wonder why they dont advertise there prices now.

I can see what you are saying. I just tried to save people some money thats all. I have never bought from them only inquired about a scoop. In todays market why wouldnt they advertise a price? The scoop I inquired about is a long handled one with some padding around the handle of it. The handle is a big loop. I seen them for over $150.00 on other sites and they offered it for $79.00 and shipping. Thats what got my attention. They are the manufacture of the scoop and a few others. Im not plugging them just giving you the reason why my interest was raised. Sorry if I offended anyone.    Steve

Steve, you didn't offend anyone. Their web site does. Remember that old saying? "If you have to ask the price, you can't afford one."

That sort of thing and the fact that they don't show their prices make them seem elitist. It's bad web practice to make customers call for a price. The idea of a web store is a 24 hour presence, not one that's only working during office hours.

Thats true what you wrote Golddigger. I called them and if they answer consider yourself lucky. I did receive a email after I reminded them that I inquired about a scoop via email and telephone. It was one hell of a price though. $75 and $25 shipping. But I didnt order it. Like I said they go for double that on other sites. I also tried to get into the fisher link like you did and its still down.

I myself noticed that they didn't offer any Prices. It like having a Yard Sale and Don't tell anyone. Come and fill up your gas tank at my Gas Station and I will tell you how much you owe when you get inside
