Go Up Go Down

Its been a couple of years since I last posed anything on the forum. It was a photo of a ring and some coins I found while on holiday in Cuba using a Vibra-tector (small hand held under water PI detector) I went back last year and spent some time snorkeling on the private beaches of the hotel using the detector and came across a bracelet with a hand charm attached it was in about 4 - 5 ft of water and when I cleared the sand away both ends of the bracelet were caught down a crack in the rocks. Without a weight belt it s difficult to retain this depth more than a few seconds and it took about 5 minutes to free it without breaking it. However I think you will agree it was worth it. Both the ring from the year before and the Bracelet are 18K gold The other ring is silver. The coins are mixed Cuban both Pre. and post revolution. a few Russian and worn American silvers. The waters there really corrodes the modern currency more than the older type.
I would like to wish you all a Happy New Year  and Happy Hunting
Mac

Nice! You have a lot of patience using just a pinpointer.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

What was the Weight on the Braclet?

Sure looks bulky.

Is this the Detector you used?

Hi Homefire Yes that the detector from Kellyco. Not sure of the weight but both together are valued at £400
