Question:
Do you use the Xterra 705 on the beach?
All the time
occasionally
only use if I am desperate
never
you must be joking!

I have been using my Xterra 705 on the beach with the medium freq. coil. Does great on the dry sand. Anyone use one like I do on the beach? I want to get a Sand Shark or Excalibur soon. As cash allows...

I usually use the 705 on the beach, then switch to the excal when I get in the water. The 705 is much better at disc, but not quite as deep as the excal.

I was thinking of doing the same. Use the xterra on the dry sand and use the newly accuired sand shark on the wet and in the water.
