Is there a web site or book that list the rules for Mding in each state.  example Texas no metal detecting in State Parks, Historical sites or National Parks ect, then I understand you must investigate each city....just wondering if there is another way.

Even if there was a book it would be out dated as the city rules on mding are changing daily. You just have to check with city hall or the parks board in what ever city you are interested.
