There are various methods for producing "one-off" pcb's at home.
I think that the easiest is the Copy Transfer method where a reverse image of the PCB is printed onto a transfer sheet which is than "heat laminated" onto the previuosly cleaned copper clad of the pcb.  Because of defects in the process, it is well worth the effort to use a transfer foil (look up "hot stamping" for sources of foil that will adhere to the toner and cover up and pits/cracks that might compromise your etching.

You can get very fine traces using this method.  If you search on You-Tube, you can even get information on how to make Dextrin-coated release paper but I've been able to make good boards just using simple acetate sheets in a photocopier or laser printer.

Good luck,
Doug

it is easy to create a pcb like this on the photo.
You only need to print the pcb layout in a Glossy paper with Laser printer.
After that just iron the paper to the pcb , use the correct chemicals and you got it !!! Grin
